I was sorry to hear about Ponce's passing. I have a lot of fond memories of all the things I have done with Ponce.

We boated, skied, fished, hunted,and socialized for a lot of years. I hope you all have found peace in his passing and he is suffering no longer. He will be missed and remembered.

I have so many great memories of Ponce at those very first water ski tournaments. He was one of the first in the Waterloo area and he will be missed. Waterloo, Waverly,Oelwein, Dubuque....great times.

Our friendship grew over the years and I still enjoyed going up to Ridgeway Place to visit with him and Dale along with many of the other residents even after my mother passed. I would usually find Leon sitting by the doors going into the lunch room and if he wan't there I would go to his room. He always had this beautiful smile that I will never forget. I gave him a little dog that would laugh as it rolled over and about. Leon loved that little dog.
I really appreciate you calling to let me know of Leon's passing. You have lost your father, and I have lost a dear friend. However, now he is in a much better place free of all suffering. My prayers for each of you is that Jesus will wrap his arms around you and help you to get through this difficult time. I would love to visit with you sometime if you still have my number.

We are so sorry for your loss and know Ponce in a better place.

There are so many fond, and fun memories from all of the Wterskiing days and get togethers over the years. There are many things to share, but just the fun times we all had is the most important. You girls have lost your Father and friend and we also have lost a long time friend. We are sorry for your loss!
